They also have some ability to control their own temperature... you know, if they happen to get too cold.
Or they just want to show off.

I always thought redheads were known for having short fuses and a fiery temper.

Somehow I don't think the redhead in my picture is susceptible to sunburn. Or any other kind of burn.
But I bet if you turn the lights out after that blaze of heat vision, she'll have a couple of glowing headlights. She'd make an interesting tour guide in the underground tunnels or whatever.

In the AU, there is a weapon called the Starlen, which is the Vendorian forerunner of the GAR, which is a crude copy of the Starlen made by the Arions. Basically, they are both capable of slicing an armored and shielded warship into little pieces.
However, using one against a red-headed Geheimite (AU lore) is pretty useless, other than to briefly make her look away and perhaps briefly adding a bit of color to her pale skin.
And here's another Geheimite, her name Geneva, up close and without any high-energy physics at work. Per the AU mythology, Geheimites are half Velorian and half Galen. An upgrade that naturally comes with flaming red hair.

This image is hidden for guests.
It was always funny what finally did her boyfriends in. Like the guy who didn't make it when she rolled over him while takia relaxing nap on the beach. Or the dude who thought it would hilarious to shoot her, only for the bullet to ricochet back into his liver. The latest was especially cute - her friends were playing redhead tennis (you know like tennis but with bolders, cars, buildings....) when the adorable little man came out in a panic and instinctually put himself between one immovable object (some shit car moving in a lazy softball arc) and another (her perfectly invincible body.)
Alex had mastered the important zen lesson of having fragile males around her in a super powered redhead world - it wasn't if they would get killed, but when.

"You wouldn't believe how stressful it can be sometimes being the world's strongest hero. Not only do I have to deal with all the natural disasters but the millions of Asian girls running around causing trouble, even if all their power combined is a mere fraction of mine. However at the moment I have a little time to myself, fancy helping me to relax?"
