Found this handy video on how to create very convincing, bendable bars! The thick aluminum wire seems to be great for the effect.

I was just searching for flexible tubing on the internet. That seems great for fake jail cell bars. It's hollow and you can put maybe bendable thick wire or goose neck tubing in it. That why it retains it shape when a sexy bionic woman bends it :)
