Here is something I came across with regards to the She Hulk tv show.

While I adore Alison Brie (love her in GLOW), I'm not sure this would be the best casting :)  If she is cast, then She Hulk will most certainly be a CGI creation, and to be fair, I can see her playing the role of Jen.  She certainly has the acting and comedic talent for it (if they go the breaking the 4th wall road of John Byrne).

Gina Carrano is another name that keeps popping up in places :)  Tbh, I wouldn't mind if she got the role either.  She can certainly play Jen and She-Hulk, without the need to do a full CGI creation.  A bit of Gandalf-LOTR style perspective trickery and such would be fine to pull it off imo.

Will be interesting to see where they go with this :)

Peace.

Gina Carano is rumored to be a viable choice every time there's a role of a muscular sexy woman to fill just because she's pretty and buff. Unfortunately she doesn't have the acting skills required to land a main role in a medium to big production,

Very true js2001 :)

Most likely because there are few females in Hollywood that can pull off both (physicality and acting).

I wouldn't say she couldn't make the part work, it really depends on what they go for.  I'm certainly not imagining great levels of acting required for the part, or show.  And while I wouldn't say she is great, I find her more then adequate in the body of work she has been in.

Having said that, I am sure there are many, many, many actresses who would probably be trying out for this role.  The chance to have a Marvel MCU role on your resume is most likely a big plus :)

Peace.

I feel like anyone who plays She-Hulk would have to be either tall and buff (not likely), or relatively short and thicc, using performance capture and CGI to scale her body up appropriately. A normal-sized actress wouldn’t have the right proportions—length of her limbs relative to her torso—to make performance capture work well enough. I don’t think Alison Brie would fit.

But then what do I know about how performance capture works?
