Please join me in wishing Fat's a Happy Birthday and best wishes for a continued recovery!
I chatted with him this morning and he said I could pass along the following update:
He is still bed-ridden at home and on a ventilator (I don't know any more details with that) with a live-in nurse seeing to him but is conscious and communicative (hence the update). He's still pretty sick and sleeping most of the day but is feeling slightly better than before. He gets an evaluation on Friday and said he would let us know how it's going....
Keep him in your prayers!

ty all for your kind words, I've been on a ventilator for 24 hours (Wednesday) to give my lungs a rest, I'm now on a tank of oxygen fed by a canular, I have been fed paste to keep my energy levels up, the doc did a review and is happy with the progress, they hope that by the end of October I can be declared cleared.
It's been a hell of a week, a great way to start your 40th year on planet earth.
Again thanks for all your kind words, I'll keep you up to date when I can, c-19 drains you like nothing you will ever experience before.

Medicine is much more effective in dealing with the virus as I'm told by my doctor so I'm feeling optimistic for a full recovery for Fats. He's in my thoughts of course and wish him a happy birthday.
