PLEASE READ: Annual SWM Pledge Drive
Rather than waiting to the last minute like we usually do, we actually are planning ahead so that the site doesn't mysteriously go offline in early January as it's been known to do due to SOMEONE'S procrastination.

Anyways, as you might surmise, SWM runs 100% off donations that we receive, and thanks to everyone's generousity it has allowed us to remain ad-free since our inception with hopes it will stay that way. Thanks to everyone's incredibly generous support (and a couple of VERY generous benefactors) our last pledge drive was almost TWO years ago (Jan 15th, 2019) which means we raised enough to pay for over two years of hosting (plus a few module extensions like the poll tool)!
Well, that money has finally run out and we're in need of a little capital to keep things going like normal. Our hosting bill for the dedicated VPS that we run is $171/6 mos or $342 annually.
If you'd like to contribute, please use the link on the top of the site to Paypal us ANY amount you see fit. We understand that disposable income might be scarce in these shaky times, especially during the holidays, so please only contribute if you can. And as a reminder, please know that 100% of your contributions (minus what Paypal takes) go exclusively to the site's maintenance and content.
Thanks to everyone for their continued support.

I just tried to donate, but when I click on the box to enter the amount, it remains white. I think the text might be the same color as the background?

Hmm.....
Thanks, Mosen. What browser are you using? The button should take you directly to paypal. I just tried and it worked for me. Maybe you have popups disabled?

Here's a screenshot. I typed numbers in the amount box, and each currency type shows up as I hover over it, but then disappears again.

1) If you just click the Donate button with adding an amount/currency, the default is $5.
2) You can submit paypal contributions directly to the SWM account at tekgator22@yahoo.com
Sorry for the inconvenience, everyone. As I said, we hadn't really done a drive in 2 years so I suspect the donation module got knocked out of whack with one of the other site updates.

My paypal account is frozen out with an old mobile phone number that is needed for security checks to process payment.

I just opened it in Chrome, and everything worked fine, no problems seeing the Numbers, and it went to PayPal fine and took the donation.
Keep us apprised of the totals, as I like having this place around to visit!

Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who contributed to the site over the past week. We have collected $640 dollars to date which is wayyyyyy more than enough to cover the next hosting bill. In fact is is enough to cover the next THREE hosting bills (18 mos worth) and just shy of two years worth of hosting.
For transparency, you can see that we've deposited all the monies (65 + 115 + 460) we've received as of this morning into the "pre-pay" account for the hosting so ALL of the monies will go to hosting and won't get lost or forgotten over time.
Thanks again to our fantastic community for your continued support of our crazy little piece of the Internet!
