No clue, but it appears to be at least partially some of my earlier writing. My name still appears here and there. Don't remember the story, but that's not unusual. I've forgotten more of what I've written than I remember. 

I always tell folks they can borrow whatever they want from the AU, and this is definitely set in the AU, and add to it or change it and make it their own, but please give me credit somewhere as the source/originator/concept, etc. Especially if some of the prose is mine. That's all I ask. This person doesn't seem to do that except by accident. Oh well.

As long as someone was motivated to write their own story on top of mine or use my concepts, then that's a win. Our community of writers isn't so very large to begin with. And not everyone can stare at a blank screen and come up with a story. Sometimes it's easier to start using someone else's writing or concepts, and then over time add your own spin or create your own universe. It's all good.

Actually, that whole story was copied by Lush Cherry; you can go back and forth between chapters with the link at the bottom. But the fan fictiin site itself has been dormant since 2018.

I like the way you steal borrow from the AU... you've rounded out and fleshed out some favorite characters in different ways. Which is fun to read. Most importantly, you are giving something (at lot!) back to further define the lore and backstories of the Universe. 

I may have seeded the AU, but it's the gardeners who grow the interesting stuff. Even after 30 years.

I've got ten stories in various degrees of (non)completion, plus am doing a story for the Halloween event. That is my highest priority writing priority.

Seems was time goes by, I get busier and busier on all kinds of things. Which is a good thing, given its all pleasure, not work, but it runs me out of bandwidth.

The Net is very weird. In this case, I suspect it's a search engine thing, in that people try to include material that has been searched for before to somehow draw hits to their stuff.

I envision it like the Rim planets in Firefly, where sparsely populated and fairly primitive planets and moons try to get the word out, but have absolutely no connection to the Core or the Alliance or whatever. 

Which is what just happened here.
