What is your favourite type of Supergirl?
Do you prefer a tiny delicate looking Asian girl who takes a savage delight in the moment someone realises she is harder then diamonds? How about a voluptuous blond bombshell that enjoys showing off her power to all around her? Do you prefer a seductive femme fatale or a towering muscle-bound warrior? Kind and caring or dominating and sadistic? Would you rather only a few low level powers or an all powerful goddess? What sort of Superwoman is your favourite?
As for my preference anyone looking at my profile picture or my DA page will have a good idea of what I like. Tall redheads with large breasts and huge powerful muscles who enjoy showing off their incredible strength. I generally don’t like characters that are too powerful because they often end up becoming boring, so being strong enough to lift a few hundred tonnes is normally enough for me. I also prefer women who are confidant and assertive without becoming arrogant, and while smashing up old buildings to show off is fine I don’t like those who cause death and destruction just for fun.
But that’s just what I like, how about you?

Unfortunately, I think she was mis-cast in the role as she wasn't a great actress in the role she was given to play. But, even in her persona as Linda Lee, if I was given the choice of a SuperGirl, a Blonde Bombshell. Immense Powers in a slim body. Oh Hell, Helen Slater all the way!
E.T A. Of course, Circes Cup's excellent La Porte Caves is also brilliant. Both scenarios work out with the Immense Strength shown by the girl's abilities.

see I enjoy the concept of an ordinary person being turned fully into Supergirl so usually I like the Linda Danvers alter ego look and then like she becomes blonde and has blue eyes, usually a variation of either the 90s or 1984 costume. Very clear distinction is that they would look physically different from each other. Unless you were there when they transform you would never believe it.

Not that I know of. The ironic thing at the ending was a Super-Powered Penny would be the only person able and available to lift the whole house that her magic snacks were buried under...Has the reboot of Proud family done a new superhero episode yet?

Interesting... I also like emphasizing her dual identity thing...
Here's a pict that I find especially nice:

Good of heart -- but stout and knows evil when she sees it
Compassionate and caring -- but not a pushover
Quirky sense of humor -- and shameless
A great friend -- for those lucky enough to know her
Loves food too much -- but can never gain an ounce
But most importantly -- hard as steel and deadly serious when dealing with anyone who kills, or tries to kill innocents, especially children.
She makes sure they won't hurt anyone EVER again.
The last gets her in trouble with some cops and politicians, who call her a vigilante and sometimes worse, but she is determined to protect innocents the only guaranteed way.
Even if it means breaking a few eggs along the way. She has enough power and conviction to believe that she's uniquely entitled to protect those innocents who cannot protect themselves.
Looks kind of like this:

You and I are similar in that vein. Not sure if the provided picture fits my ideal, but I agree with the spirit of it!I think I'm in the minority here when I say I prefer good supergirls, proper girl scout kind of deal. In terms of appearance, I like them angelic and girly, with just slight muscles showing. Nothing too big

I wouldn't want to meet her in real life, though...

- Being moral
- Being strong in spirit before being strong in body
It's easy appearing like a hero (or a villain) when you have all the power. That is why I like character that are as wilfull as they are strong. My general take is that if a character is solely defined by their power... then there is very little to them.

Also when she turned 'evil' when she was poisoned by radioactive material.
And, Kristen Kreuk as Lana in 'Wrath' in Smallville was good to watch as she descended into Powerful Motivation.

Are you sure you are talking about SWM? You are describing Peril, and its not allowed to be posted here.See I have the opposite problem I think it’s cause a lot of stories that came out when I came to the site would kind of end the same with an evil superwoman stealing Supergirl powers I find it much more interesting if somehow Supergirl finds a way to win after being de powered or maybe that goes awry and the evil person trying to get powers becomes a brainwashed goody two shoes. I think it’s because I like Supergirl so it’s kind of annoying to have a bunch of stories or it’s like and she gets defeated and or killed at the time

It might have changed but a lot have evil superwoman like birth of undead
Agreed... many evil superwomen and some heroic ones.
But not in the Peril style.
The primary difference is who gets dominated or beat up or slaughtered and by whom.

Maybe "moral" isn't the right word.Being moral is a bit boring though. Even Kara had her moments in SG when she smashed the two bank robbers who shot at her.
Also when she turned 'evil' when she was poisoned by radioactive material.
And, Kristen Kreuk as Lana in 'Wrath' in Smallville was good to watch as she descended into Powerful Motivation.
What I mean and I tried to explain is that I like when a character take ownership of their actions. For better or worse, I like when a character knows and understands that their action have consequences. Having someone turning "evil" because of mind control or poisoning or whatever other gimmick you can imagine it's often an easy cop-out and I generally don't like it.

Those things aside, there are still a lot of possibilities for interesting, appealing characters. Could be the classic good girl, or someone more hedonistic; just someone whose motivations and actions make sense, and who isn't a complete jerk.

There are hundreds of thousands of highly trained, combat experienced warriors all over the United States today and they are almost never implicated in murders. No one kills because they have the ability or even the skill to likely get away with murder.
People are motivated to kill. So, if an evil girl has the right motivation I will read her story. Bad Becky and from "Blind Date" was good and there are others. Arions make sense and I can imagine anyone breaking.
But mostly i like Good Girls because i think it is more realistic. Most US presidents have risen to the office and tried very hard to wield their power responsibly. And it would be damn lonely. A lot of the best stories cover these aspects.
Being a Good Girl is just harder and end the end sexier.
