An unexplored power

At the risk of being poo-pooed off this board (sorry for the pun), I propose another capability that our goddesses might possess though I have yet to see it mentioned.

I refer, of course, to super-flatulence.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying this is my favorite super-power, but it has yet to be explored.

Is this a taboo, or am I truly the first to have thought of this?

Consider one coming into power scene: Our girl stays out doing tequila shooters laced with strength serum. The heroine passes out overnight and awakes with her super-powers but she is not yet aware she has them. Of course there are the various crushed brass doorknobs as our heroine in her groggy stupor still comes to grips with her newfound superiority. She goes to the commode and sits, lets rip a particularly staccato fart and the shock waves crack the porcelain.

Our naughtier ubergirls can spit with more accuracy and impact than a 50-calibre sniper rifle. They seem to get a kick out pouting of their lips and with an effortless kiss creating a hurricane. Why wouldn’t such a goddess enjoy the feel of walking into a skyscraper and demolishing it in a totally unique manner. She walks into the lobby, and lets loose a small (for her) pooter. The resulting overpressure immediately blows out the first three floors (as well as the first garage level) and the building then collapses onto her. Of course she laughs and emerges unharmed.

Finally, I believe our super-goddesses could give new meaning to SBD (silent but deadly).

You should write a story about this in 1000 words or less and submit it to workshop 2.6.

You know, I once made someone in my writers group describe having a 'nuclear colon'. It went something like this.

"I have a nuclear colon. It is true that I shit with the force of an atomic bomb, and whenever I fart, all life within twenty five feet is exterminated for up to twenty four hours."

Since it is fiction, I prefer to think of my supergirls as having some form of perfect internal energy conversion system that completely does away with the whole 'need to eliminate waste' thing.

Or... at least they'll fart dainty little flower farts or something.

Can't we just prefer not to think about it?
