Obviously, this site was done by someone with a real understanding of the market for WW. Megan is the perfect choice and maybe someone at Warner Bros will realize that she is the perfect choice.

Maybe, we can start a write in campaign or a petition.

You can bet that it will make people at Warner Brothers think about it.

After all they are in the PR biz and this has gotten a ton of PR, so if they were to greenlight a WW film with Miss Fox they would hit a PR bonanza.

There's hope!

So if I'd had this idea first, I could have gotten all this publicity for an Elisha Cuthbert SG movie?

Is there still time?

While she is a beautiful woman without a doubt, she has no athletic build whatsoever.

I prefer my amazons to more in the Raquel Welch mode. I can't think of a modern equivalent to Raquel at the moment

Gorgeous but ruined for me with all the tats. Tats are for pirates. Ok, one or two little dolphins on the ankle is ok, and maybe a small sun beer coaster but that is it.

I don't think she is the right girl for the role. She's a too young and not tall enough imho.

Wonderwoman should be played by a 30-32 year woman whom is at least 1.75M (5"9).

Just my 2 cents though

Lynda Carter was 24-28 years old when she played Wonder Woman from 1975-1979.

Let's take a little poll on WW to judge where we think WW's look should go... there are so many varied depictions:

I've started by putting up a couple of the old classic WW images from the comics, for reference:

A) The classic Alex Ross drawing of WW:
velorian.org/AlexRoss_WWD07.jpg

B) Another classic comics view:
velorian.org/WW_GSET_TPB_solicit.jpg

Now, some possible approaches for the movie:

1) A different Megan Fox depiction... hot, young, non-traditional
velorian.org/Art22430.jpg

2) Young, tall, slender, ingenue type:
velorian.org/8147a.jpg

3) Older, muscular, experienced type:

4) Another in the same vein as 3):

4) Fit, angry, modern, kick-ass type:

5) Sexy type:

What do guys think?

Was the original comics depiction of a mature, strong, serious woman-warrior type right... or wrong direction for the big screen?

Or do any of these other types of WW ring your bell as the right way to go for a 21st century movie depiction?

Weird, she seemed older to me.

"Weird, she seemed older to me."

Remember, you were younger then and so were the rest of us:0

Shadar: I like Megan Fox as WW. She's young, but she has a certain gravitas and intelligence. Most women her age couldn't pull it off.

Essentially, WW is supposed to be smarter and stronger than any man and sexier than any woman. That's tough to pull off.

OK, here's my contribution to what Megan could look like (albeit not in costume). I've done the tat removal and tweaked her eyes Amazon blue.

Both of those changes would be trivial for Hollywood, either via makeup or computer-enhancement. I think she's got a lot of the right stuff for the job:

What do you guys think? Is there a better actress for the job?

I think minus the tats she'd be a stunning WW.

But I'd like to see someone new so that if the movie were a success they could keep using her without bankrupting the budget.
