This looks like it could be a lot of fun.
Of possible interest to the members of this forum is the character "Ginormica," voiced by Reese Witherspoon -- a woman transformed into a giantess (on her wedding day!) by a meteor.
The website refers to her "enormous strength and size," and mentions that she's "impervious to nuclear and atomic forces." And judging by the trailers, it looks as if she'll be kicking some butt.
In theaters March 27. Looking forward to it!

It was pretty good. Not quite a kids movie, not quite the next '50 foot woman'. The strength she's got is disproportionate to her size which is great. And she's got the biggest role in the movie, capturing the most screen time.
Well worth seeing in the theatres, and a surprising idea for a "kids movie". Hopefully we'll see a good femme superhero movie soon that's marketed for the mainstream and doesn't go direct to dvd sales.

Charon! Where have you been?
It's my wife's turn to pick the movie, so I won't be seeing this until next week.

yeah I was talking to someone who saw it and he told me she's really, really strong. I plan on seeing it soon.
from her "dossier"
Destructive Potential: with the power of 10,000 women, she can wreck an entire city block without breaking a nail.

Fans of this movie (and Ginormica) can rejoice possibly as Nickalodeon (I think its them) has ordered a series pilot for Monsters & Aliens....
