I had heard about this project a while ago, and it sounds like it's got a lot of potential.

But I must say that I'm disappointed by the casting choice of Uma Thurman. While I have no complaints about her acting skill, I've just never thought she was sexy. She's just way too thin. When is Hollywood going to realize that guys prefer women with curves?

She'll co-star with Luke Wilson in the comedy SUPER EX about a guy (Wilson) who's dating a a superhero (Thurman). While OK with her superpowers he can't take her neediness and dumps her leaving a jilted heroine using her powers to turn his life into a nightmare.

Another great possible new movie coming out while I'm gone! Dammit all.

Sarge, I've got three letters for you. DVD. Just think of all the new movie's you'll get to see when you get back.

Personally, I never go to the movies anymore. Last two times I went, I had to fight off the urge to kick some loud mouth in the head. Besides, these days the turnaround to DVD is only a few months.

I however make an exception for the premier of THE AWAKENING.

Mainstream DVD's aren't really a big problem. We get access to the PX on post and have internet access to sites like Amazon and Best Buy. Everybody shares the movies they have after they watch them first. But stuff like Playboy or more explicit are banned and punishable offenses if found. There are plenty of 'Girls Gone Wild' and Playboy type stuff floating around but it isn't worth the risk to be accidentally caught with it.

Internet usage is monitored, filtered, and usage is logged. If I'm able I will order the 'Awakening' when it comes out. Might have to just email you and pay via PayPal if that is an option.

This is my last day home on my 4 day pass. I have to watch all the gear next weekend while my troops go on their 4 day pass. See all of you in about a year.

Uma? Hmm... She was disapointing in Batman and Robbin. I'm with LFan ~ not sure how well this is going to work. Cute concept but the execution is going to make or break this movie (duh!).
