WW = Cameron Diaz! NOT! was created by lfan
Word in Hollywood is that Cameron Diaz was offered the titled role in Whedon's new WW film --- and she turned it down! Sources close to the actress said she didn;t even bother to read the script.
Now I love Cameron, but cannot say I'm disappointed she turned them down. Wouldn;t have been my first choice!

Me neither. She is totally wrong for the part.
By the way, I think that story is comepletely false since it said a script was sent to her. Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but Joss Whedon has said that he doesn't even have a script and won't even start writing it until Serenity hits theatres this fall.

Yeah, I thought the same thing too about the script too, JD. But then I saw the story pop up on multiple sites so I figured might have some validity -- maybe just internet scuttlebutt though, who knows.
A friend of mine told me "Jennifer Anniston" was gonna be WW the other day according to some 'rag'. Looks like their info is a couple of rumor generations old!
