I'm thinking about upgrading! My question is how important is video quality to you?
Are you happy with Standard Def at the 480p that I film in now? Would you really like to see 1080i?
Camera's and the equipment to process HD is more advanced than what I have ~ and expensive. It’s also going to take more time to get SFX to look okay in HD (in fact it scares me a bit).
Is it worth higher video costs? I already think my films are among the best values out there ~ but I also prefer to keep things as accessible to as many as possible.
Six to Eight minutes is my goal. I try to keep the credit length down; I also often include bonus stuff that others would call weekly update worthy. The current price is $5.95
Is $6.95 worth it for HD? Be brutally honest.

Voted no. Maybe it's because I'm blind, but the difference to me is so negligible.
1080i is sort of like 760p right? That's how a friend described it to me.

Well the difference is so small (1$ !) that even by the curiosity to see what it could be ... I say yes

You are correct, the difference between 1080 and 760 is not that great, unless you have an amazing tv/monitor.
However, I'm talking about 1080 vs 480. Here the change is significant.
SDV ~ which is what I shoot in now is 720X480
HDV ~ is what I'm looking at which would be 1920x1080 or 1780×956

I also say go for upgrade. IMHO, I think you've always delivered a great value to your fans Random; you've always been fair and square.

Average for vid sites seems to be about a buck per minute so your HD price seems on target for what many are charging for standard quality.
