In the article it says that Producer Joel Silver is in negotiations with Joss Whedon to direct the next WW film. The interesting part is that it mentions a re-interpretation of the character. No more details. :shock:

Uh oh. Whenever I hear the word "re-interpretation" of the character in regards to a comic book movie, red flags go off in my head. Yes, I'm thinking of Catwoman here.

I was just reading the nyposts gossip section and there is a story saying that Warner bros. is considering Kim Bassinger or Jessica Biehl for the role. :lol:

I kind of like the idea of Bassinger in the lead role. Though she is probably to old.

Kim Basinger? I cannot see her as WW at all. Now I might be able to accept Jessica Biehl.

IMHO, if they can't get Charisma Carpenter for the lead role, they should just go with an unknown.
