Like I said, this is very preliminary, but its so exciting, I had to share. Here is a picture of the actress in question that would FINALLY portray AC Comics' flagship superheroine:

Miss Victory is a character-you know people have heard about. Its not been a big selling comic for awhile, but i have certainly seen it in comic shops, even today . In terms of popular conciousness i would put it up there with the valiant line of comics-which just sold for like a 100 million dollars to a chinese film studio.
Which i guess comes to this: I almost got to think there is a big budget or even modest budget movie here. That there is some Actress who was on a sitcom or TV Show or...Jane Levy, i do like Jane Levy, shes had a really good actress who for the last couple of years who has been kinda of floundering. I could see this in Netflix or Redbox, or doing well in France. There is an actual movie here.
I apreciate what Nightviel is doing, but they could be doing a bigger thing then this. You could do more then like 20 minute videos that sell to a couple hundred people.
Which maybe they are. i donno.. I do wish them luck

While Miss V. and Femforce have been around for years (FF is the longest running female-led indy book, I think), I think it's a stretch to think that more than only serious comic buyers have heard of them.
Perhaps Markiehoe can weigh in with some more info, as he writes fro them and also is involved in some of their productions.

Actresses were hired and production was scheduled to start.
The Production company wanted creative control over his characters.
Sticking point number one was the addition of male heroes to back up the women and rescue them when things got to tough.
(Kinda like what happens on Supergirl these days)
He killed the whole deal.
I respect him for that.

She is 5' 1 1/2" tall.
Kinda skinny.
Hardly the impressive, blonde, All American girl needed to play Ms Victory.

I agree, Markiehoe... Ms. Victory has always been tall and lean and ridiculously fit. Can't always get all those things in an actress, but tall is an absolute must to pull off the character.
Seems like some of these folks find a model/actress who is willing, and then try to force-fit her into a rule she doesn't fit in. I understand that for low-budget films... it's not like a major Hollywood movie where they can choose among hundreds of actresses for a role.
Still, to make it interesting to their audience, they have to at least cover some of the character's essential physical traits. Other than being a pretty blonde with boobs, this actress doesn't look anything like Ms. Victory.
