Wonder Woman Easter Eggs (spoilers)

I love spotting hidden items in movies.
The creators put a lot of time and effort into making these movies and sometimes it shows.

My first Easter Egg I spotted in Wonder Woman:
For a brief time in the comics Diana was a translator working for the UN.
The best in her field.
Ignored by her co workers.

In the movie Diana easily translates Dr Poisons notebook.
Then she is dismissed.

In the Old West American Indians prized Winchester Rifles.
If an Indian could acquire one he would personalize it by putting brass tacks in the stock.


Just look at the attention to detail on that rifle.

The rifle stock decorations are interesting, given that the "plus" symbol, or "X" with the dots or stars around it isn't a typical Native American design, or least not a kind I've seen before.

I wonder if there is a meaning to this, Perhaps he's part of some secret society and there is more to him that meets the eye. After all, Steve gathered these guys together, all apparently men he knows and has worked with before, so they weren't ordinary..

A Native American living a partially traditional life, except in Europe during WWI, is amazing enough. But there may be much more to it.

My hope is that the sequel movie, likely set 30 to 50 years in the future, will feature the grandchildren of these heroes. Grandchildren, perhaps both male and female, who have learned and remained true to the goals (think secret society) of their grandfathers and rediscover Diana who has decided to pursue her original mission of ending war.

I'd like to see Diana teaching the Chief's granddaughter, a full-blooded Indian girl, some Amazon skills for fighting on horseback. Perhaps she comes from the plains Indians and has that kind of skill in her DNA. The plains Indians were amazing warriors on horseback.

Anyway, that's how I'd write it.

Apparently they let the actor have a lot of input, to make sure that it was accurate. One way to make sure all that detail is correct: hire someone who would know and then listen to them. I don't know if he helped with the design on the rifle though.

I do like the author of the first article's reaction. Much like young girls and women are excited to see WW on screen, he was overcome in hearing his language spoken in a comic book movie, even if it was one line. And I LOVE the Easter Egg that he said his name was "Napi" (a trickster demi-god). Diana either understood him and didn't trust her accent, or guessed what he'd said. (I took it she understood him.)

The internet is currently trying to decipher what the license plate number on the Wayne security van means. The number is "JL828BZM"

The current theories are this:

- "JL" obviously means Justice League.

- The "828" could mean August (8th month) 28th, which is Jack Kirby's birthday (Creator of Darkseid and the other New Gods)

- The "BZM" could mean Bill (William) and his wife EliZabeth Marston (creator of Wonder Woman and his main inspiration)

As far as I know nothing has been confirmed on these yet but they make as much sense as anything else.
