Most Powerful in MCU

For the longest time I was a champion of Scarlet Witch as the most powerful female in the Marvel Comics Movie Universe.
The way she threw those Ultron Bots around was THE highlight of Age of Ultron movie for me.


Then earlier this year along comes Hela and she easily defeats Thor.
I don't need to say much more.

On Agents of Shield it is insinuated that Quake has the power to destroy the Earth.
I had to think about that for a minute.

Personally, I think Deke has no idea what he's talking about when he accuses Daisy of shattering the Earth. All he's got to work from are fragmentary records as the Kree were rather methodical in destroying all the historical records in order to make it easier to control their human slaves. I personally think the claim that Quake destroyed the Earth is BS. Her power produces noticeable recoil, bad enough that without her gauntlets she had a problem with fracturing her own bones. Quake apart the planet? Not without MASSIVE augmentation, like a megadose of an Inhuman version of Mutant Growth Hormone, or some giant amplification rig.

If we are talking currently in the MCU, it would probably be Hela. She destroyed Mjölnir with one hand, and while having a smirk on her face

If we are talking upcoming, then it would have to be Capt. Marvel. Feige has said that she will be, by far, the most powerful character in that universe.

Of course, this is in part due to Scarlet Witch being a depowered version of herself in the MCU. To me, she is the most powerful as her powers are REALITY warping, and being drawn from the demon Cthon, are near limitless (see House of M). With that immortal line "No more mutants", she erased nearly all mutant abilities from existence .

Then currently I would say Hela is the most powerful so far. Not only did she conquer Asgard, destroy Thor's weapon and batter him like a bitch, there is no conclusive proof that she died in Ragnorok at the end. Didn't see the body = possibility of being alive as the saying goes

Indeed, we never saw her die. Thor: Ragnarok was such a successful movie that I wouldn't be surprised if we see Hela again. Since she drew her incredible power levels from Asgard and Asgard is gone, my prediction is that in the future, she will be vastly depowered and more like the comic book Hela. Perhaps re-exiled to Nifelheim or living in Las Vegas, always plotting, but never much more than a thorn in Thor's side.

Totally agree Agentsoul I would love to see this, and I think it could be something that's possible.

Thor needs an antagonist other then Loki, and what better then one played by Cate Blanchett
