This actually looks pretty good. It'll be released on Sept 2 on Netflix in the US.
The protagonist and main character is a superstrong but normal woman, working as a fry cook of all things and with a kid, whose powers are recently discovered and the source is a mystery. Some other Freaks with different abilities find her to join up, and the story starts there.
It's a common and repeated theme, but a cool one if done well. By featuring a superstrong woman, its pretty well centered in the SWM thought process..
I'll give it a try.

Cornelia Gröschel winds my super girl clock. Young and cute and fit. Oh yeah, and blonde.
Looks a bit like an older version of the actress on StarGirl.
She's been working since the late 90's, so presumably is a good actor.

OK. Question: Does the heroine get a superheroine costume? I admit to being a sucker for a super strong woman wearing a form fitting costume and a long, flowing cape (preferably knee to ankle length).

Hard to tell still, but probably not. Feeling a bit of a German "Heroes" vibe from what I've been able to see.

Didn't see any evidence of her in costume in the trailer. But one of the other Freaks (a guy) was laughably trying on an internet-purchased costume that looked ridiculous.
Costumes could go either way, I suspect.

Can def. recommend it in terms of feats. Story wise it's okish.
Some throat lifts, heavy lifting, car pushing, super punching, super kicking, metal bending in it. some other scenes are just left to imagination which was a little annoying I thought but I'm greedy as hell hehe. The actress really enjoys showing off which is a plus for me. And she looks really good as well - enjoy

I am agreed with Gargamel. Must see ! However, the ending is unexpected as I expected A one-shot film but Director hinted the sequel!

I took the day off, so could watch this, and it didn't disappoint. Those strength feats were incredible, but I do have to agree the movie and ending left a whole lot out there..but still love that there will be a sequel..fingers crossed.
