Only Jack Kirby could come up with the Norse goddess of death as a sci-fi Vegas showgirl.

If you wanted to hide on Earth and keep everyone from realizing you are some kind of goddess, working as a Vegas showgirl isn't a bad way to do it. Nobody is going to seriously assume a showgirl is capable of punching Thor out.
But then, I've always had an affinity for ultra-powerful women who assume secret identities that almost nobody associates with being a superwoman, ala a Hooters waitress who not only shakes her booty and serves hamburgers and fries, but also fly off into space and take down an attacking alien main battle cruiser with her bare hands. And then make it back in time for her next shift at Hooters.

At 1:10 the ground bombardment stops as the attack ship starts firing into the distance. It does little to slow the target from plunging straight through the ship. Emerging out the bottom is Captain Marvel. Too bad we don't get to see Captain Marvel pretend to be human.
At least Hela appears human when she doesn't have her antlers on.
