Some new casting information on WW.

Some names being bandied about are Jewel Staite and Morena Baccarin, both of FireFly and Lauren Graham. Check our Comics2film web site for the details.

In a Houston Chronicle section they had a half page article about the new Wonder Woman movie coming out. It was a knd of joke, but they were arguing that a Texas girl should play her. I agree, of course. Come of their suggestions were Hilary Duff, Eva Longoria, Renee Zellweger(sp?), and Alexis Bledel of Gilmore Girls.

I recommend going to today's Comics2film website. In the article there it indicates that Whedon first wants to write the script and develop the character before finding the actress to play the part. He doesn't want to develop the script for a particular star. In my opinion a smart move. It also says to look for casting to take place in a couple of months. Finally, it says that they feel Whedon will go for a younger actress to play the part as opposed to say Lucy Lawless. Personally, I wouldn't be opposed to Angelina Jolie or the Blaylock of the Star Trek Enterprise.
