The new Wonder Woman movie is now online to be downloaded at this website: www.redcapecinema.com/WW2_Film_page_.htm The film is a very hefty download however (almost 1 gig), but the film runs over 40 minutes in length. I just started the download of it. Enjoy!

That was a very good movie. I think that Mr. Santiano should be making the full length WW movie instead of Joss Whedon.

I agree in that is an excellent movie perhaps one of the best quality fanfilms in existance (COATS is pretty darn good too). I'm however willing to hold judgement with Joss to see what he puts together. His characters are usually deliver.

I find it amazing over the past 6 months the amount of female uberness that has jumped onto the small and big screens -- The Awakening (shameless plug), COATS, WW Balance of Power, Super-Ex (coming out this Friday), and Joss's Wonder Woman movie soon to follow .... as well as a couple of other 'genre movie projects' I've heard rumblings of.

Slightly disappointing still is the lack of chatter regarding these. Sure, the normal postings are coming from people like (JD, Ace, YAGS, Jeep, Argo, Jeep) but I woulda thought this would REALLY stir things up and revitalize the forums here. For years, a lot of this audience scrounged for any superheroineclip they could find, now there are full length features and fanfilms and not many people are commenting on how good/bad they are, aside from a few comments.

El-Ef

P.S. Yes, a circuititous ploy to prod people to post more.... I know.....

I agree :D

Well, I dl'ed the film on Saturday. And lemme tell ya. I was blown away. I thought the coolest special effect was WW could fly. Not sit and fly the invisible jet but actually fly like Superman.

Oops, sorry for the double post, but I didn't know how to handle this. Anyway, this makes two posts for me instead of one, so I'm, uh, helping?

I had the notion that people slowed down producing ubergirl material (story writing, pictures, whatever) and just started waiting for the new stuff to come out. It just felt like everyone dropped what they were doing to hold their breath and hope that the new mainstream stuff was good.

Hi everyone - well this looks like it could be the best movie of a very good bunch to have come out recently - how these people do it on such a shoestring budget is beyond me!

My only problem is I keep getting a message after only a few seconds of play saying Buffer Over run detected.

It goes on to say: "a buffer over run has been detected which has corrupted the programs internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated."

At which point I have to try and start the movie again - I can see by flicking along to random points in the movie it looks incredibly professional but I just can't watch it properly!!

Please somebody help!!

MO,

You trying to watch it online? I'd right-click and try to save it and run it locally....otherwise I think you're in for a struggle!

Hehe cheers fella - nah I had downloaded it - all 1Gb of it!! Its OK though I just cheekily updated my Quicktime and it seems to work fine now.

Im so impressed, I really am! I like the way they had slightly eccentric villains without it degenerating into a 60's Batman type caper. Great stuff!

Been really looking forward to this, even though i wasn't a fan of the first one for some reason.

It's been a great year for uberaction, and it's only going to get better...COATS II, Wonder Woman in the cinema, possibilities of a new Supergirl film....

MO, soory...shoulda known better. Your "error" sounded like something that might happen when trying to play online. Cheers!

Totally agree with your assessment of the villian. Kinda a characiture like Batman (60's) but not soooooo over the top that it was truly campy. Thought the flying effects were top notch as well. Also, perhaps the best were the fighting sequences. Sure, woulda loved to see WW tossing guys around like toy soldiers, but this was pretty good.

Takes a very skilled actress (or clever director) to pull some of those moves off at the speed they did and make it look realistic. Not Jet Li (or Cynthia Rothrock for that matter), but excellent work, especially considering she was fighting in boots.....

Two thumbs way up!

I assume everyone saw the preview of the next movie after the credits rolled. Is WW really going to have to fight Superman? That should be interesting....

This new Wonder Woman Film was Amazing!
I downloaded all the films on the Red Cape Cinema website and this longer Wonder Woman film, Balance of Power (BOP) was awesome!

I also got to see Battle for Justice which is six minute short film and an interview by the show, The Daily Caper which featured the director
Ron Santiano and Wonder Woman herself, actress Michelle O'Neil.

What great films!
