Hi all. I haven't been on this site much lately, but I figured I'd check in and see if this has been posted yet. And since it hasn't, here I am to spread the news.
I don't usually keep up with new shows on TV, since I'm always busy and forget when they're on, so I just catch up with the very few shows I watch as they come out on DVD. I was tempted for Smallville's 7th season just to see Laura Vandervoot as Kara aka Supergirl, but I wanted to watch the eps in order to follow the ongoing storylines, so I waited.
So as I'm sure most of you already know, season 7 hit stores on DVD last week, at least in the USA. Here's the part you might not know: There are some good deleted scenes of Kara that weren't aired when the episodes were originally broadcast. So even if you've been following the show on TV, this might be worth picking up just for the deleted scenes of Supergirl.
So far, I've only watched the first three episodes and their deleted scenes. In the second episode, there's a deleted scene of Kara knocking someone down with her super-breath (I won't say who to avoid giving away a spoiler). In the third episode, where she competes in a beauty pageant, there's a deleted scene of her competing in the talent competition. She uses her powers to do a "magic" trick, dressed in a red cape and fishnets!!!
Just thought you'd all be interested to know about these scenes.
