Old- My Hero

Synopsis: As George agrees to take on more of Piers's patients – so that the doctor can practice his golf swing – and Thermoman duties continue to call, he decides to reduce his workload and free up some time to concentrate on winning back his wife.
He sets about fashioning a Thermoman sidekick out of one of his ribs with a little help from Arnie. What emerges is a beautiful, statuesque, 6ft blonde called Lula – leaving Janet even less impressed than before.
When George is demoted to "Sticky Tape Boy" as a result of Lula's efficiencies at her job, he realises something has to be done – because he's at risk of losing his livelihood as well as his wife

The minute I read about this program, I did a through search for it and came across this ep and 3 others that might have a superheroine in it. -one other for sure- I am looking for this series, hope to find it and share the results with everyone, but for now, here are the eps of interest:


9. Season 2, Ep 3: Girlfriend

Thermoman's domestic tranquility is disrupted when his long-lost fiancée, Xil, arrives from Ultron. When Janet learns George is bound by Ultron law to marry Xil, she devises a plan to keep her husband.

12. Season 2, Ep 6: Pregnant (Possible Superheroine Alert!)

When Janet learns she is pregnant, Thermoman gives Janet special powers so she may protect herself and the unborn baby. At first she is skeptical, but discovers she enjoys being a superhero who is better at the job than Thermoman.

47. Season 6, Ep 4: Sidekick (Possible Superheroine Alert!)

In effort to lighten his workload, George makes a sidekick out of one of his ribs, a beautiful woman called Lula. But she turns out too well, replacing everyone at the health centre, and she even takes George's job as protector of Earth.

I remember 'Pregnant', but no display of powers if I remember right - no costume either. Janet just seemed to rush around being excited that she had the powers, then (when she realised that being an Ultron woman meant she would also become a total powermad shrew) she realised she had to give them up.

Just once...just once I wanna see a woman gain superpowers on TV and not give them up by the episode's end...

Oh, and I think there was also an episode where Janet's parents got the powers too...
