This program has Bionic Woman disease in that the underlying story/plot is so friggin convoluted/confusing its ridiculous. The whole episode last night with Cameron/Allison just seemed like writers with nothing else better to do than to make things up as they go along.....
It's sad these days as it seems like writers and producers pull out all the stops in the pilot and/or over the course of the first season and then seem like "Umm....we got renewed, cool!.....now what do we do?" That usually was a 3/4th season occurance but seems now like programs are jumping the shark much earlier....

There's a rather frightening article about the future or lack there-of of SCC at www.syfyportal.com. It looks like we may be losing yet another superwoman related broadcast network series.

It's an insult to the intelligence of your average Sci-fi watching viewer, and a complete insult to the strong franchise that is Terminator.
All in all, it's an embarrassment, and doesn't deserve to be on the air.

OK, pet peeve time:
I must have missed the memo announcing the now standard dark/cyperpunk influence on just about every Sci-fi show. Dark Angel was the first I remember, but then just about every show since always has that apocalyptic, "wet" look with the dark cinematography that you cannot even see WTF is going on. Perfect example is the fight scene in the BW pilot -- where its raining and the two bionic women fight -- at night -- with hard, quick closeup edits so that you cannot tell what is going on except for the grimaced expressions on their wet hair-draping faces.
SCC REALLY overdid the "wet look" with Cameron last episode (granted, it was a flashback), but you would think with all these shows that in the future, the underlying technology of the light bulb would be in such a decline.

Personally, I think the Sarah Connor Chronicles is one of the worst tv shows I've ever seen.

Two hours wasted with a damaged Cameron trying to kill John Conner (yeah, like you're really gonna kill off the only character who truly must live for the future to be preserved). And when John finally manages to wrangle the chip out of her brain? He miraculously "fixes" her by wiping it with a dirty rag. While riding in a van. Geesh, maybe he must have blown on it too, like I used to have to do with those old Nintendo game cartridges. That always seemed to do the trick.
And the second episode was no better. An hour wasted just so they could kill off whats-his-name's wife. Big frickin' do. It didn't even make sense logically. Sarah knows that the big bad Terminator is after John, and that if it succeeds in its mission, it's "game over, man!" So when the dude starts whining from the back of the van to slow down or his wife will die, what does Sarah do? Hmmmmm, she thinks -- "Keep driving in an attempt to save my son, who is the only hope of the future... or stop the van so this insignificant woman who's bleeding all over the back seat might have a chance at living, even though it means my son might die (and ergo, the Terminators win). Guess I'd better stop the van." Yeah right. The Sarah I know would have punched the accelerator up to 80mph.
I don't see this show being renewed for a third season.

At the end of T2 everything looked like it was safe. Then T3 (as called crap) came and judgment day still happens from a changed time line. So maybe in that changed time line it is not the same John C.
Oh well. Just an idea. Not saying it good or bad, but it is an idea. One that I'm sure Fox would not think of.
