They pitched this a while ago for Fox (I think) but it never went past pilot casting I believe (Dan Cortese and Myndi Cryst were cast as the husband and wife team). For those not familiar with the story, Edger and (forget her name) are a soon-to-be divorced couple who fight constantly. Due to a freak accident they are endowed with superpowers that only work when they are together (X feet from each other). Hijinks ensues....

I think Variety just reported that Andrew Miller and Bob cooper are pitching Ball and Chain to Syfy. It's in the early stages of development. It might not get picked up. Anybody else remember this project?
