However, if they stick to it as is - I like it anyway - and these things tend to grow and take time with me. Plus I'm a skirt kind of person - so it's an uphill battle - so they must have done something right.

Now that version works for me 100%.
...On the origional picture I keep looking for signs of touch up...
...I wonder if she's working on buffing up a bit for the roll to fill it out - or if they don't care. I hear Bale is already ramping up to 185 pounds for Dark Knight Rises.

Honestly, I'm not impressed.
To borrow a phrase from an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (I've been re-watching it on DVD lately), she looks like a "cleavagy slut bomb". Not that any straight guy would consider that a bad thing, but... pants?!?! As a leg guy, my favorite part of Lynda Carter's costume was that it showed her legs in nice pantyhose.
Yes, she's pretty hot, and the top is very nice. But pants?!?! It's just not Wonder Woman.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I'll give her an 8 for this pic. But given what character we're talking about, and how sexy the old costume was, anything less than 9.5 is a severe disappointment.
And anyone who thinks they're actually going to show her running around with that much cleavage showing all the time is delusional. I'd be willing to bet money they only ditched the jacket for the promotional pics and maybe the the first time she wears the costume on the series, but she'll be covered up at least half the time on the show.

I like the outfit, agree that red boots would probably be better. Now I do hope she has powers, otherwise the whole thing is a waste of time.

I think the people saying it's too shiny and looks fake should take it up with the photographer and photoshopper of that pic. I'd be very surprised if all the shininess translates to filming. While it isnt a matte finish, something tells me itll be muted down when we see it on film.
Overall I like just about everything except the belt and the boots. The belt looks strange and the boots are too busy at the top with all the gold. I think the OP before said it right with having blue boots to make her legs appear longer, especially with such a low riding belt.
I love the WW breastplate though I'd lose the red star in the center. The gauntlets look great too, I think. Although again, I'd lose the WW trimming on them as well
Some tweet that the pic was taken at 1am after a long day of shooting...hopefully that was the contributing factor to the makeup fiasco...

Overall, I think the comic fans have been receptive to it (as well as our community) based on initial comments with the same belief that "it coulda been much worse". Sadly, the more generic movie sites (e.g. entertainment Weekly, SuperheroHype) have comments that are pretty much ripping it to shreds, along with the actress.

Same at Comicvine, lots of people complained about it saying that it's too shiny and too soft porn. I agree that the shine is really offensive to the eye, but we saw much worst around.

It totally cracks me up when people comment and say it's an EPIC FAIL cause of their limited understanding of photography and makeup. These are the same people that probably said that Adrianne was a terrible choice cause she was a blond. And then the same comments of her dark hair with the bangs ("wonder woman doesn't have bangs. This will fail"). While they are entitled to their comments, people just hate to hate sometimes....sad....
