As reported by Dave earlier in another thread (superwomenmania.com/index.php?option=com...&id=22117&Itemid=128), Episode 3x20 ("Prophecy") not only is gonna bring the return of Kara, but will also feature a "Lois Lane with superpowers"

In a storyline straight out of All-Star Superman, Jor-El in this episode grants Lois superpowers for 24 hours as a wedding gift. Who knows how it'll be showcased, but our genre kinda scoffed at the All-Star Superman sequence cause all it showed was her flying. Well, optimism dictates this version might be better in the superstrength department cause 1) flying FX might be limited due to budget and 2) no flying in Smallville (usually)

Then again, it's Smallville so its bound to disappoint! :P Still, with two ubergirls in this episode though, hopefully they'll demonstrate a little Girl Power in some capacity...

Here is the SPOILER-filled offical description of Prophecy from the CW.....looks like Super Lois might get to see some action!

<scroll down>

JOR-EL GIVES LOIS SUPER POWERS; KARA returns — Clark (Tom Welling) takes Lois (Erica Durance) to the Fortress to get Jor-El’s (voiced by Terrance Stamp) blessing for their marriage. Jor-El bestows a unique wedding gift on the couple – he gives Lois Clark’s super powers so she can see what it’s like to be him for a day. Unfortunately, the Toyman (guest star Chris Gautheir) has returned to Metropolis, so Lois must go up against the notorious villain instead of Clark. Meanwhile, Oliver (Justin Hartley) searches for the Bow of Orion, which he believes will remove the Omega symbol from his skull, and runs into Kara (guest star Laura Vandervoort), who is also on a mission to stop Darkseid. Mike Rohl directed written by Bryan Q. Miller & Anne Cofell Saunders (#3X6019).

Saw the episode tonight. The pic above is one thing in it, the only other is Lois throws a criminal through a wall. Supergirl does nothing but talk to Green arrow. That's it.

Again, they just don't have the budget for superheroics anymore.

Ah well. It's over in 2 eps and that's all she wrote for Smallville.

That is so evident now as the effects are mainly the superspeed effect. Any strength feat is always throwing someone it seems...oh well....

SPOILER.....

Well, they left the door open for Supergirl I guess though, if CW wants to take a spinoff leap (i know, i know...)
