new bionic woman web series was created by AJF

I heard about this from the beautifulbionicwoman Yahaoo group. An East Texas based indy production company called Qstorm productions is producing an, all new Bionic woman-like internet series called Bionica. It's in production now ans it's two hour long(!?) first episode is set to made first made available over the internet on Oct. 16, 2011. It's inknown if the epipisode will be free or if there will a fee to stream or download them.

The main character is named Rachel Summers and played by actress Emily Thompson, who apeared in the earlier QStorm Productions earlier film Ghosties.

The company's offical website is qstormproductionsblogspot.com. And, they have a Facebook page as well.

Not to much slow motion he mentions. I'm still excited for it. Hope it's downloadable then I can add my own slo-mo techniques.

Reading the blog, it looks like the director has put quite alot of thought into the concept, which can only be a good thing. I particularly like the idea of the spinal column being reinforced. Looking forward to seeing how the series turns out.

I think they might relaese a trailer on Sep. 10th, the same day Q Storm's web movie, Ghosties is released. There could a DVD release in 2012, too.

There's a new Blog update at qstormproductions.blogspot.com/2011/08/n...ernet-limelight.html where they also talk about releasing a comicbook for the series!

Bionca's Facebook page was updated the other day with photos and character bios of the the show's female cast. They look to be under 18. One of the characters is an evil, russian female cyborg.

The show now has it's own site bionicanation.com. A trailer should be released next month, with the series launching online on 12-16-11.

On 11.16.11 Q StormProductions will a 10 miniute trailer for Bionica.

Q Storms internet radio show, just yesterday, did a 16 minut interview with Bionica star, Emily Thompson.

An actor will play Oscar Goldman in the series and Thompson herself is only 13 years old.

hi everyone,

just watched the preview very professional although emily and other girl acted well wish been a little older that been said i did enjoy it as close any 2 org show i ever seem including the 2007 show it was 7mins long

Curious - even if a disapointed they are using the same Bionica name PSW has been using for four years now.

Eh...was ok....not terrible but not overly impressive either. I think Random and Bully's stuff is better, to be honest. The Mighty Woman stuff blows it away as well.....

I thought their opening sequence looked good and was encouraged but then was left a lil disappointed by the quality of filming & blocking (looked a little camcorderish, IMO). Will continue to keep an eye on it, but not putting it on my Google Alerts, either....

It was reported on that the reason that series has been delayed is because the makeup artist died of cancer in January.

If you check out the show's Facebook page you get the feeling that the show is getting revamped and even the star, Emilly Thompson has even been replaced.

Most of the cast ahs been replaced with more experienced actors fro both dallas/Fort Worth area as well as Austin.

Sarah Thrash has been cast as in lead as the new Rachel Summers. The revamped Bionica goes into production in May for a June 2 hour premire.

Thrash does have an offical webiste and a IMDB page.

I'm glad they got a new actress. The other one was too young for the role and not belivable in my opinion

It's in production now. Mckensie Erhart plays an earlier model bionic woman who serves as Rachel Summers mentor/trainer.
