Marvel tv shows update was created by AJF
Various webiste have reported about Marvel's still indevelopment tv series. Cloak and Dagger. for ABC Famil is going to be st in post-Katrina New Oleasn instead of New York City where the comic has always been based. Gotta love those Louisiana sate tax credits.

Anoterh show just anounced being developed for ABC Family is Mockingbird, based on the Avengers character and girlfriend of Hawkeye. I't said the show would be set in her university days and would be part Felicity and part Alias.

Over at ABC, AKA Jeesia Jones is still indevelopement. Both Luke Cage and Carol Danvers are said to part of the shows cast of characters.

It amazes me how DC and Marvel can be SOOOOOOOO far ahead of each other in their respective mediums. Every thing DC tries with Live-Action (outside of Batman) is a giant steaming turd or seems to get no support or traction. Unlike Marvel who cranks out pretty good movies and now TV concepts in bulk.

On the other side of the coin, DC is unparalleled in their animation efforts (though Marvel is closing ground with Avengers series). It's funny how they can do something so well and the other so bad....

In response to AJF's, looking forward to all the series, as they sound interesting.....

I agree with the sentiment. The truth is that the DC had one major bonus, they were able to put together a great team of animators and writers at the beginning of the '90s and they're keeping them. While Marvel wasn't able to put together a decent team until very recently.

They'll probably be shooting Cloak and Dagger near my office, like every other production in New Orleans. I'll keep an eye out.
