Athena Fox TV pilot script

Both the hollywood reporter and deadlinehollywood.com are reporting today that Fox has bought a pilot sript from tv writer Lisa Joy called Athena.

It's based a graphic novel, written by Joy herself called Headache. It's a about a 23 year old woman who discovers she's the ancient greek goddess of war. She must fight other greek gods and varoius monsters from greek mythology while trying to still live a normal life.

Hmm, looks cool. I think the best parts would be her dealing with annoying normal people.

Goddess of War is probably not a perfectly nice person.

Sounds interesting but seems like a ripoff of "Almighty Johnsons"

has the potential to become a new Xena though, if they tune down on drama (which all these superhero/fantasy series seem to have more and more).
