FX's Broken Girl

The Hollywood Reporter reports that the FX cable network has order into development a dram about an indestructible young woman. It's said to combine element of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the 2000 film Invinceable that stared Bruce Willis.

Could be interesting, unless she just has super healing...

Thats a shame somehow.

Strangely though i suspect that it would have a much smaller budget i think with the concept it would work a lot better on FX. Also a lot more likely to happen.

I have no desire to see anything even loosely based on The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Not so sure about that last part, considering Powers is stuck in FX Developmental Hell...

Read the first part of that sentance. I suspect that FX doesn't have the real budget to do Powers. Basica american cable probabbly can't If there keeping it in devolopment hell this long i suspect there waiting for deal that probabbly isn't going to happen. (and maybe shouldn't i never was a big fan of powers)

But Agian i am projecting here based on a project i know nothing about. But i suspect on FX it might be an intresting thriller-FX is very good at doing 10 or so episodes of a show and calling it a season. That tends to work less well on Network TV, which has 22 episodes less sure of when they air and the threat of cancelation mid season. Frankly in my mind at least this has worked exactly once. I might do some fox bashing but well probabbly not.

In any case it does have an intresting logline, not purely from an ubergirl standpoint I though Dragon Tatoo had intresting ideas could work for a series. If it gets picked up I'll be curious this time next year.
