Mighty Med (Disney) + The Thundermans (Nickelodeon)
"Mighty Med" (on DisneyXD) premiered last week, second episode was aired yesterday night. It's about two little comic books nerds who end up in a special hospital for superheroes. They become respected doctors thanks to their deep knowledge about superheroes biology. Starring also a teenager supergirl kind of character who was sadly deprived of all her powers (they said she had 24 ) by a villain named "Annihilator" (we don't see this happening on screen). So she's just a normal girl now, but very athletic... we see her doing flips, and kicks/punches.

"The Thundermans" (on Nickelodeon) premiered yesterday night (second episode will be in November). It's supposed to be a more lighty version of No Ordinary Family / similar shows (The Incredibles etc.). I haven't seen it yet so I don't know a lot of details... the actress playing the role of the mother is the well known Rosa Blasi. More details www.nick.com/shows/thundermans

She's technically 'ill' and that's why she's in the Mighty Med hospital. Eventually, when the doctors will find a cure she'll have her superpowers back again, I guess this is going to happen later, but for now she is a 'normo' (that's how they call people without powers).
I've also watched The Thundermans first episode. It's hard to figure out which is the least demential show between the two ^^;
The mother has lightning based powers, while the older daughter has telekinesis, ice breath and fire breath (or heating breath, whatever).
The little sister has laser/heat vision.

I don't know about the Disney one, sounds like the dad has all the cool stuff, but maybe he has a sister or something.

Both shows are now in the second season. While "The Thundermans" keeps being more or less useless, "Mighty Med" has started to be REALLY interesting.
There has been already a very good episode some months ago called "Guitar Superhero" featuring Debby Ryan as a guest superheroine.

The best news is that Skylar has recovered all her powers at the end of of Season 1 final episode.
BUT ... she has been turned EVIL by the villain Annihilator !
The second season opener was aired last 20 October, I still need to see it, but just by reading the comments it should be nice. Give a look !

Mighty Med Season 2 is still ongoing, and this show is much better (not that it took a lot !).
After several episodes with Skylar Storm as a villainess (and that was awesome - too bad she's back being good & depowered now ), the last episode has been about a teenage superheroine ("Spark") who falls in love with Kaz in what appears to be an half parody of the notorious movie "My Super Ex Girlfriend". Her fighting style against a villain at the end of the episode was brilliant - in the whole episode she shows superstrenght, superbreath, superspeed (she does this the most) and "sparks" abilities pretty much like Jubilee from X-Men.

It features Skylar Storm and the speeder girl ("Bree Davenport" played by actress Kelli Berglund) from Lab Rats. The first episode was already aired and it wasn't really good, but let's hope the future will be better. The intro gives us hope ^^;
