Should be interesting- Billie Piper, who plays Rose gains god-like powers.

It is being shown simultaneously around the globe near the end of this month.

You should say: she gets god-like powers again. She already did in the last episode of the Season 1 (the onl with the 9th Doctor) when she tossed the power of the time vortex up the ass of the Dalek Emperor. Given that I'm not that excited since, to me, Billie Piper is the least capable actress among the modern Doctor's companions (to be fair, she didn't had much experience when she was casted for the role).

Any more news on this?

Haven't seen any Doctor Who apart from a few episodes of season one, but I'm meaning to watch the whole lot at some point.

Amy Pond would be awesome if she could lift some trucks over her head, just to show how pissed she is with her husband

Going ahead is the only one way to go to the future.

Well, the 50th anniversary episode was aired last November and it was very good. The character wasn't a superpowered Rose, but rather something else taking her shape (and that's how far spoilers will go for now). She's definitly dangerous, but not much in terms of super-stunts.
