One doesn't want to wish bad on shows, and comparing remakes to the original is always slightly unfair-but if you can find the first season of the 1989 Bueaty and the Beast. It is amazingly good. I would put it in the top 50 american shows of all time, and the best pure fantasy show on Network TV. Once Linda Hamilton left the show it lost steam, but it really is just a vision--- all the more so becuse it never quite revels really any details of what the fantasy world actually is. Watch it. Ron Perlman is fantastic.
Remake....well if your really a big fan of Smallville.... or want to watch angrier twilight.
