Sofia Black-D’Elia plays Erin who is trying to protect herself and her 7 yr old daughter from an abusive husband. That lends itself nicely to a setup of superstrength as her power to help her out.

Hope it's going to do better than "The Tomorrow People" did. And of course the Heroes reboot is always welcome as long as they stick to the plan of making it a standalone story.

The CW Network is not having a panel room promo for this show at SDCC 2014. It's other 2014-2015 midseason show, IZombie is getting a panel room promo.

Finally get a good first look, show to premiere on April 10th:

From the extended trailer, still cannot discern the Messengers' exact powers -- and if they are different from character to character -- but there looks to be one glimpse of a throatlift (albeit by the boy) in there that hold some potential!

The teen boy has superstrength. The single mom can heal others and the undercover DEA agent is a telepath.
It's unclear what Vera( Shantel Vansaten), the scientist's power's are yet,
