Powergirl Coming to Flash?
www.comicbookresources.com/article/the-f...g-earth-1s-supergirl
If so, this would make me practically faint with excitement. Jessica Jones, Vixen, Supergirl, Powergirl, Maxima, and Wonder Woman all in mainstream incarnations within a few years? All we'd need then is a Netflix SheHulk series, a Mary Marvel appearance, and a SheRa movie now!

The possibility of a Netfilx She-Hulk has been mentioned among the ideas to expand the "Marvel Knights" rooster for the 2017, but don't hold your breath.
As for Mary Marvel ... I fear that might take a while. Aside from the fact that a lot of people consider the Marvels to be seminal to a certain time period -- I agree to a point -- and not fitting for current audiences, up to a few years ago there was a rather involved controversy about the TV and cinematic rights to the characters. Considering how long it took to the DC/Warner to work around the leftovers from the TV incarnation of Wonder Girl ...

She Hulk is a big green lawyer in a big city dealing with supehrero law. Fair enough-but thats a bit to big a gimmie to have that start your show. You darest say i think you need an origin story of some kind-and even if you play with it a touch like i have(no the aborsorbing man isn't the guy who shot her in the original comics)-it still a bit of a streach to get there. That story is the story of someone coming to terms and learning to accept her powers, which is totally diffrent then big green lawyer .
Now maybe it is possible to do it, and if you put a gun to my head maybe i could try...but its a tricky story to tell., and also if you want to do it with CGI or lot of prosethics or puppets very tricky to do on a TV Budget.

When done well, Powergirl plays a lot like a funnier more Authentic version of the Superman from the Man of Steel movies. A stranger in a strange world issolated by her power, unsure of what to, liked by some kinda feared by others, having everything in the world, and still not quite able to make it work. There is a certain distance from the material that i think works well with her. As i have said Supergirl feels in the comics often as DCs anwser to Spideman. Powergirl takes that concept and goes uniques places.
its a fun character who i could see doing well with a movie or TV series.
However shes a character that is all about Point of View. We see through her eyes people looking at her boobs. As a random character on an episode of Flash....ehhh.

However that does not rule out an alternate Earth Powergirl on Flash.
