Sophie Turner started in GOT as Sansa when she was only 13. Now, 6+ years later, she's really blossomed. As has her role.

A girl from Northampton, UK who claims, "My childhood was pretty fun. We had pigsties, barns and a paddock, and used to muck around in the mud." Father working for a pallet company and mother an nursery school teacher.

Always fun to watch someone growing up as they also inhabit their role in a TV series.

GOT is turning in a female empowerment show (who'd have guessed!!) now that woman seem destined to the Iron Throne. We got Sansa, who has been through hell and is determined to return the favor, we have badass Arya, we've got Daenereys, the mother of dragons, and Yara of the Iron Islands who wants to sit on the Iron Throne (and probably will). Cersei is still dangerous. Many others.

Jon Snow watch out... your little sister is going to take over the North.

While I won't argue with her beauty, I can't get over her performance in X-Men Age of Apocalypse. I know that Jean Grey isn't exactly an easy role to pull off -- physical powers are, usually, a bit more easy to visualize than mental ones -- yet Ms Turner's performance simply didn't click with me. Her permanently lost expression simply didn't cut and, to me, seemed really lifeless. I don't know if she would have performed better in a more physical role, but her first foray into superhero flicks is a big thumb down for me.

Didn't see that movie, but have enjoyed watching her trying to portray the repeated victim in GOT who is finally emerging strong. And getting her revenge. Just wish she didn't complete that journey with dogs. Although it was a fitting end for a tyrant.
