DC Universe Channel Launches was created by lfan
For those interested in mainstream ubergirl stuff (or DC Universe in general), DC launched their channel this weekend.  No original shows right now, but those are coming soon.  Right now, just a treasure trove of past DC shows/animation along with online comics.  A great deal if you ask me.....

For those interested in uberness, I thought it might be helpful to list all the shows/episodes that our fanbase might appreciate a little bit more.  Here is my 'Ubergirl Primer' with significant uberness/superfemales, I'll edit it as I watch more:

Justice League -- Fury Part I & II (featuring renegade Amazon Aresia)
Justice League Unlimited -- Hawk & Dove (great scenes with WW)
Justice League Unlimited -- Fearful Symmetry (Galatea)
Justice League Unlimited --Flashpoint (watch till the end!)
Justice League Unlimited -- Panic in the Sky (Supergirl vs Galatea)
Justice League Unlimited -- Far From Home (Supergirl-centric and with new costume!)
Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths (movie w/ good Superwoman scenes)
Bayman Beyond -- Terry's Friend Dates a Robot
Superboy -- Neila
Wonder Woman Series (pretty much all of it :P)
Superman/Batman Apocalypse  (Kara!)
Superman II (Ursa)
Young Justice -- Happy New Year (Wonder Girl debut)
Young Justice -- Beneath (Wonder Girl)
Clark & Lois : Adventures of Superman -- Bolt from the Blue (Denise Crosby briefly gains powers)
Clark & Lois : Adventures of Superman -- Ulrawoman (Lois gains powers)
Clark & Lois : Adventures of Superman -- Faster Than a Speeding Vixen (female supervillain/hero played by Ice from America Gladiators)
Superman: The Animated Series (TAS) --  Little Girl Lost (Supergirl debut)
Superman: TAS: -- Unity (Supergirl)
Superman: TAS -- Blasts From the Past I & II (versus Mala)
Superman: TAS -- Warrior Queen (starring Maxima)
Superman: TAS - Livewire (debut of Livewire, who shows some superstrength as well)
Batman:  Brave & the Bold -- Triumverate of Terror (Cheetah with superpowers)

If I've missed any, please let me know and I'll update the list!

Clark & Lois - A Bolt From The Blue with Denise Crosby gaining Superpowers always intrigued me with a what if? If only...There's a story in there somewhere. I just have to get it from my head and down on paper...

ETA.There are two or three possible options how Denise gaining Superpowers could run. Just got to get it written!

I would definitely recommend the new animated movie Death of Superman. Wonder Woman gets to look pretty damn awesome in it.
Heck I would recommend most movies from the Animated DC Universe.

Haven't seen all of them but agree 100%.  For as questionable as their movie making is sometimes, DC kills it in the animated movie arena

Damn, I remember those episodes :)  Especially Ultrawoman which, if I remember right, featured Shelly Long as the villain :)

And I especially remember Ice from American Gladiators (though was always a bigger fan of Diamond :P)

Thank you for the memories Lfan :)

Peace.

They could have done so much with Denise Crosby gaining Superpowers via her lightning device. It was way too short lived :(

1. When she confronts r man and his secret identity, she makes a flirting move on him, and promises to make him rich. How could he refuse her advances with the promise of untold riches? She should have mentioned a multi-millionaire benefactor, Lex, then we wouldn't have to have gone through the kidnapping scenes.

2. When she flicks the lightning switch, all she has to do is flick the switch a second time to permanently drain r man of his powers into her. And how would Lois know about the reversal situation? And what was Lois doing there anyway?

3. She could have fought free and stepped off the plate leaving r man to have his powers drained, leaving only her and Clark as the two Supers.

4. She could have wrecked the machine by ripping the steel foot plate apart or throwing her newly mangled steel bar into the contraption.

It was only going to go one way unfortunately, more's the pity :( but such was the ridiculous probabilities of that show. Rant over.

Oh yeah, when Lois was Ultrawoman, couldn't she just fly Clark up through a lightning storm to share her powers?

What a poor show with so many holes. I've just about calmed down now!

I know... I couldn't help it. Denise's character was scientist Dr. Gretchen Kelly who ironically was electrocuted by a revived Lex Luthor. If only she was suped up...
