Boys and Ubergirls
For those not familiar with the source material, Stormfront is kinda their universe's "Thor" and widely regarded as the next most powerful hero after Homelander.
Stormfront was also a creation of the Nazi supersoldier program so it'll be interesting if they keep that canon with the gender-bent hero(ine)

I was pleasantly surprised by The Boys. The info I read makes the comics sound terrible. The show has a surprising amount of heart mixed in, and I am keen for season 2.

The comic is certainly....unique. It was written by Garth Ennis, who's done work for most of the major companies, as well as being the creator of Preacher. His run on Punisher has become the gold standard for the character, most adaptations taking cues from his work. He even did work for DC, doing a lengthy run writing John Constantine's solo book Hellblazer, and created Tommy Monaghan aka Hitman, a, well, hitman operating out of Gotham's worst neighborhood who happens to have telepathy and x-ray vision. Ennis has made it clear that he's got a fair bit of disdain for traditional superheros and has expressed dislike over how that genre dominates comics.
Ironically though, he does like a few old school characters. Whenever he writes Superman, he does it with absolute respect, and he's expressed a soft spot for Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, and a couple others. The Boys was basically his author tract when it comes to the genre, and an attempt at emulating Watchmen by showing what he felt the world would really be like with superpowered individuals flying around. Personally I'm glad the show toned down some of the more extreme stuff(like the reason the black guy's named Mother's Milk), but it's still retained some of the original spirit.

They have diverged the TV show massively to accommodate it more closely to this decade, with superhero movies having a more critical role these days than comic books. The plot has also been changed in a big way. It'll certainly be more exciting to see how it goes on Season 2.

Also some other gruesome scenes of fragile human vs superfemale.
The writers seem to have some similar tastes to users of this site.

I fully expected that scene after seeing her eyes glow when she was angry. So I had to laugh when, yup, there were the eyes.
Of course, that was a pretty mild orgasm for a super. I bet she really lights up when she’s enjoying a screaming break-the-bed kind of O.
