This will be the last season...

Besides no more Thunder, Lightning and Grace Choi, it’s all relevant news as its cancellation (along with Supergirls) might possibly clear some of Berlanti’s plate (and the CW’s schedule) to make room potentially for some of his other “on topic” projects in the works like Wonder Girl or PPG....
....or could be a harbinger for cutbacks in the superhero tv genre. Time will tell....

I think CW oversaturated the market a little bit. At one time, there were a total of six superhero shows on the same channel.

I think Willow got it right in one.
As much as I love most of these shows, there were some real issues of "too much of a good thing". In fact I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to have one work on a anthology format, telling self contained stories about a number of secondary characters, or even new heroes, while keeping only three or four main shows on air.

On the positive side maybe they release a bluray box of the whole series.
Wanted to watch it ever since i saw the one girl lift a tank in a clip.
But only season one has a bluray release, and i ain't paying for dvd quality any more..

There is something to the oversaturation, as I enjoyed Season 1 and I haven't watched any of it since. All on Netflix so I might have to see how the other seasons are. (I"m pretty sure slogging through Flash and Supergirl left me too tired to hunt down the other shows and then .. I got too far behind.)
I am fairly burned out on Flash/Supergirl ... I didn't even bother with an episode of Supergirl last year other than watching the crossover. I think the only CW show I watched was Stargirl and I didn't watch it on CW. Maybe I should rewatch them on HBO Max (even if it's just playing them in the background) so maybe HBO Max/WB will make sure that it's not 100% CW-fare in Season 2. I really enjoyed Stargirl.
Though I'm probably going to pick up Disney+, finally watching two seasons of the Mandalorian and get ready for Wandavision. The Marvel shows w/o Netflix hasn't been to the same standard (Runaways, Cloak and Dagger, I've not even watched Helstrom), but the first round of Disney+ shows look better done.
