She-Hulk Rumor/Spoilers

So there is this dude on Reddit that posted a TON (26 different to be exact) spoilers on the MCU Phase 4 that came from someone on 4Chan that worked on several Marvel sets and has contacts. Ok, ok....I know that's a lot of he said/she said......
Anyways, It's speculated that while some of the spoilers are pretty wild, there's a decent chance at some of them considering a few came true already with the first episode of the Falcon and Winter Soldier.
In any case, it lists various ones for all MCU4 properties including she-hulk which includes the little nugget that TITANIA will be one of the main villains (along with Abomination). Yay! Some of the other tidbits re: She-Hulk (I'm going from memory):
-- 1st episode will culminate with her accident which is how she gets her powers
-- Ruffalo will star as Hulk/Banner in at least 4 episodes
-- Titania and Abomination will be main villains. Hulk and Shulkie battle Abomination in final episode
-- Some fourth wall breakage
-- The Leader will be setup as S2 villain
-- Early feedback and test of the CGI indicates they are taking time with FX and the series might not be launched till mid 2022.
-- Early test footage feedback says the hulk and she-hulk look pretty convincing in CGI.
In a few other possible ubergirl related spoilers:
- The leader of the flag smashers in Falcon/Winter Soldier is gonna be a girl played by Erin Kellyman (www.google.com/search?q=Erin+Kellyman&cl...QAw&biw=1920&bih=938)
- They are strongly considering releasing all 12 episodes of "What If" at the same time rather than weekly

Sounds about right.
-- Ruffalo will star as Hulk/Banner in at least 4 episodes
I know he will be in at least one, so this sounds reasonable. Especially considering Ruffalo can be used to pull in people who might not be familiar with She-Hulk.
-- Titania and Abomination will be main villains. Hulk and Shulkie battle Abomination in final episode
Titania as one of the main villains sounds perfectly plausible to me. Abomination ties back to the Incredible Hulk movie (which, although people forget about it, 'cause it was shit , is still considered part of the MCU).
-- Some fourth wall breakage
Sounds like they are going with a dose of John Byrne's run, which is great. WandaVision showed that you can mix it and still produce a brilliant show (even if it did fall off a bit towards the end). Looks like they could be taking cues from there.
-- The Leader will be setup as S2 villain
Sure, why not.
-- Early feedback and test of the CGI indicates they are taking time with FX and the series might not be launched till mid 2022.
-- Early test footage feedback says the hulk and she-hulk look pretty convincing in CGI.
The CGI on them will be key to making or breaking this series. I'm guessing that a LOT of the budget will either go towards She-Hulk CGI, or she will be featured sparingly. For comparison, WandaVision is rumored to have had a budget of $25 million per episode. Across all those 9 episodes, that's $225 million!! That's a very good-sized movie budget (I personally think is was closer to $150 million, but still). If She-Hulk has that budget (or less episodes so more per episode), I can see it working.
The latest I heard was November at the earliest was when this show was slated to air. Not unreasonable to think it could be pushed back a couple months. It really depends on what Disney have in terms of content to push out on their D+ service. They need to keep those subs somehow.
All in all, I am really looking forward to this show to see what they go with If its half as good as WandaVision, it should be a blast.
Thanks for the info LFan
Peace.

Haha! Exactly...it was Reddit VIA 4Chan, so take it with a grain of salt. That said, some of his calls on other shows have proven true so it was worth mentioning. In another post he also mentions that of all the MCU4 properties, he's "closest" with the She Hulk production. It all sounds as reasonable as something with 4chan involved can lol. Thanks for sharing!

Maybe this is a sign there will be some more creative writing behind this ~ or they just liked how it worked in Deadpool and want to copy that. Fourth wall is fun - but you either have to do it *a lot* or very sparingly. Not much room for in between.SPOILERS AHEAD

That What If with Jane Foster was arguably their best issue. If memory serves, the story was written by horror movie historian Don Glut.
I think I've mentioned it here before, but if I had to credit/blame ONE event from my past that got me into this genre, it would be What If #10. I still remember picking it up at a flea market in my youth and then seeing that "money shot" of Jane transformed into Thor. I've been hopelessly drawn to the genre ever since.
When they first announced the What If series, I was secretly hoping for this enactment, but with Love & Thunder coming out with Natty P as Thor, I highly doubt they'd double down with doing an animated version.

That is surely something to behold. I can see why that sucked you in.
Have we had a thread devoted to the "money shots" that first attracted us to the genre?

That money shot proved so influential that they ended up turning Jane into Thor in the real continuity. I actually really enjoyed that run of issues and I also loved Waititi's "Ragnarok," so I am optimistic about the movie to be honest.
The amazing thing is What If #10 is from 1978! But there is no doubt that it set the stage for Storm getting a Stormcaster in Uncanny X-Men Annual 1985 ... and eventually 616 Jane Foster becoming Thor for real.

I just wish that show was live action instead of a cartoon.

Peggy Carter as Captain America first appeared in Exiles vol 3 #3. It’s a comic where alternative universe versions of marvel characters travel to other universes and fix things. So very much like What if with a rotating cast that travels around.Speaking of What If?, the trailer for the upcoming show has scenes showing Peggy Carter getting the super soldier formula instead of Steve Rogers, and getting a superhero costume with a British theme (Captain Britain?). I think there was a shot of her picking up a jeep.
