Lynda says the same here​​ in her interview at the very start.
She says she felt destined to play Wonder Woman with a cosmic reasoning due to the way everything came together to let her play the role.

Diana Prince in Catfight!

Ah, the seventies....none of those 'showboating battle scenes' they manufactured on Supergirl.
This is Lynda in a full-on, no-holds-barred, full-on catfight as Diana Prince with a cat burglar in Diana's home. It plays out as if they are not even acting! It looks like they absolutely hate each other! That is some performance from Lynda.
You can just hear the director yell "JUST GO FOR IT GIRLS!"
 ...and Diana proves she can can handle herself without having to spin into Wonder Woman form with her extraordinary powers...(in the tumbling rollaround, she may have accidentally caused herself to transform...perhaps Diana Prince has to be on her own, or most likely have a thought process for her wondrous transformation to occur, for example, whilst she was rolling and tumbling down a hillside.)

@11.55. The poor cop's eyes are drawn somewhat to Lynda's chest...the lucky guy's eyes are locked on...Understandable if you are getting to see Wonder Woman for the very first time! (Diana Prince would have just shrugged his attentions off....Lucky for him)

This is brilliant from Lynda and the producers!
She is tied up and gagged, but at the same time, trying to explain to the hapless guy with her beatiful but rolling eyes that 'Oh my god! For Chrissake! There is a bomb about to go off! Can you just please try and fix and sort it?'

I know this isn't Lynda, but if there was ever to be a Wonder Girl as a younger sister of Diana Prince, surely it could / would have been Ms. Jennifer Connolly. She is a great actress and the beautiful likeness between the two as potential sisters is stunning.
Unfortunately, we will never know, with a different era between the two in the late seventies.
There is still loads of info. online pushing for the beautiful Jennifer to have played the role of Wonder Girl.
 

I found a website dedicated to Lynda as Diana Prince.

'WonderLoli' on YT have captured some great individual scenes. It is translated into Spanish, (and Diana sounds great with her Spanish dialect.)

This upload below shows Lynda at her very best as undercover Diana Prince. (I really like her hands on hips sequences as Diana in her civilian clothes.)

Looking back at Jennifer Connolly, I would have to say Tiffani Amber-Thiessen would have been perfect as Diana Prince's younger sister as Wonder Girl. She has very similar stunning looks to Lynda Carter in her role. Beautiful!
Once again, Tiffani was too young at the time to be considered for the role, but she would have been a stunning Wonder Girl in her own way in her day!

 

 

It is for the better that Lynda keeps and holds onto her costume in case of emergencies...

I remember Lynda during an interview, quite a few years ago now, where she was asked if she ever worn the costume recently.

If I remember correctly, her reply was she only wore it for her kids
