Word is that Spike TV (who brought us Stripperella) is working on adapting the comic "The Pro" to the small screen.
For those unfamiliar, The Pro was the story of a hooker who is granted superpowers and then becomes basically a white-trash, i-don't-give-a-shit superheroine. Extremely crude and violent comic based on normal standards -- right up Spike TV's alley!

I do have a copy of this. I was very suprised after I read it that it was on the usual new comic release stand. The owner had not read it, and after I talked to him, he moved it to his back room which has "those" kind of books in it.

Yeah.....while it wasn't solicited as an adult/XXX comic. It's about the closest you'll find to it given the language, violence, and adult situations in it. Gotta say I didn;t care for the book either....just reporting it as being "on topic"

www.popmatters.com/comics/pro.shtml Review of the comic.
I'm going to order a copy. It looks like something I'd like. Not a fan of hoods or masks so I hope the TV series doesn't follow that theme.
