Heroes Season Final
Very good episode. I do wish I had spoken up because about three episodes I "knew" what was going to happen.
If you missed it and you have broadband ~ you can watch it on nbc.com
The Hiro stuff made the show worth watching this show all by itself. Plus I still like the "dad."

Well ~ we got to see Nikkie/Jessica in action. A toss across the room and a door handle break.
You forgot the bit with the parking meter. Granted, she didn't rip it out of the ground herself, but she did intercept and catch it like it was a wooden cane and I'll wager parking meters are heavier than Nikki made that thing look when she was swinging it around.

And yes, Hiro is just great! Who else remembered of the EVIL DEAD/ARMY OF DARKNESS in that end?

But why can't Hollywood get proper Japanese-speaking actors? I don't mean Hiro, of course, but the others... They've got a Korean playing Ando and the guy who played a Filipino-Japanese helmsman playing Hiro's dad. Yeah, I like the guy too, but he can't speak Japanese. I hate having to read the subtitles to figure out what's he saying.
Back on Gilligan's Island, they used an Italian actor to play the Japanese sailor... sigh...

Ooops! I actually meant the cheerleaders dad! I didn't even think of Hiro's dad when I was writting that or why it might cause confusion.
While I agree with you about ethnicities and nationalities playing the respective characters right 100% ~ I still like *that* dad too. 8)

At least they cast him right when they had him play the train engineer in "Von Ryan's Express"...

To follow up Julievelor's point... Nice article I read in the Washington Post today (not sure if you need to be a member to see it, but I figured I'd post the link).
