Hey Sarge!

Yeah, I was away from all things "internet" from the 20th to the 27th.
I almost didn't have a cut for the Indy Meet. I was working on it up until about two hours from getting on the plane. And, it was a ROUGH cut too!
No music, no transitions, and three scenes without the special effects. But, despite all of that, the movie got a thunderous applause!
I feel real good about this one

Anyway, I'm going to get back to work on it Sunday and I'll have a trailer ready this coming week. ( I'm pretty sure )

Not to sound too eager (or pushy :oops: ) but is there a release date? (I know it says Summer, but I was wondering if it was weeks or months away).

I'm gonna be bold and say it'll be a few weeks.
For the most part, the movie is finished. I just need to polish up a few FX shots, and add music. Oh! I do have one shot I need to re-shoot, but it's a simple one. Shouldn't take more than 5 or 6 hours to shoot and edit it into the movie. There's a story behind that, but I'll save it for the "Special Features" documentary on the DVD.

Wow pretty good trailer there Kelly! And I take it the Texas Ranger character Chuck is a nod to Chuck Norris, star of the now former tv series Walker, Texas Ranger.

I can already imagine that it will be Tara, Jenn, BJ, Raven, etc. as bridesmaids. HEY, maybe that should be one of the upcoming updates! Have them all in costume of course.

Congrats Kelly! I would head out that way if I had plans to take a few day drive to visit my aunt in Bloomington, IN. But I haven't heard from her since it's a strained relationship between my dad and her.

Bull_pup is getting married?

Welcome to the club my friend. Are we going to have little Bully_pups running around here shortly or are you going to wait? As one who waited to have kids for a few years after getting married, I would highly recommend it. My wife and I refer to those as "The Golden Years" because we had freedom, money, and time to do anything we wanted. Once kids come, all that stuff goes out the window.

Anyway, enough of my soapbox. Congratulations to you and all the best with your new wife!

JD, no babies yet. She has a 7 year old son, and my daughter is about to turn 18 in Nov. We do want one of our own, but we're pretty much on the same page as you. Thinking maybe a year. We'll see if we make it that long LOL!

FYI folks....

We're down to the wire. All the FX are finished. All the scenes have been fine tuned... I'm just adding the intro and end credits( Well, until I stopped to update the Steele sites Haha!) , and I have an appointment at a studio on Monday to have the music scored.

FYI......

Ok, the meeting at the recording studio didn't go as planned. Apparently they've never scored a film before. He told me he'd get a guitar player in the studio and play as the movie played. Uhhh... Yeah naaa..
But, I called Mike Conway (THE AWAKEING) and he offered to score it for me in trade. I should have the music on Monday.
Which works out perfect because that gives me time to study up on the Sony DVD Architech program I just bought.

So.. and I'm going against my better judgment by giving a timeline, but I think I'll have it ready for release by mid week next week.

Anyway, that's the news for now.
