Someone else had a great idea about that too. He said I should shoot a short photostory or video of some guy driving and throwing a soda can out of the window and Supergirl stopping him (in some really cool uber way) and then grabbing the guy by the collar and then pointing at a "Don't Mess With Texas" road sign.
I actually wanted to do that, but when I was shooting Kelli, I couldn't find one of those signs on any of the roads we were shooting on. And, I didn't feel much like risking life and limb to shoot that story on the I/20.

"Wild At Heart" Brantely? Yeah, I remember that movie. Haven't seen it since 1991 I think.. I actually went to the theater to see that movie, and ..... well... We all have our different tastes in movies. Did I like it? Not so much..

Ok, a couple of things.

One. Jenn's belly button piercing.. I was so caught up in the moment, I didn't notice it until I was halfway through my first memory card. She happily removed it then.
In the first set, I removed it, but missed a couple of them.
Then, sure enough, the emails and myspace messages started coming in. "What can pierce Supergirl's skin?" "She needs to watch out the guy who was able to give her that piercing" and etc....
LOL On the one hand, I love the attention folks have to detail, and on the other, it's made me very paranoid! Haha!!
So, for the purpose of those piercing pics I missed, let's call it a "Kryptonian Life Signs Monitor" -- Hey! It could happen!
Also, I thought you all should know how excited both Jenn and Kelli (Love that name!) were/are about joining in the Steele fun.
Jenn, immediately jumped into character, and started throwing out ideas of her own. All of which you'll see in the coming sets.
Kelli, well here's some of what she messaged to me..

"Don't take offense to this, but I want to stay away from anything too cheesy. I love the idea of throwing the cars and kicking ass though! Niiice. Haha."

"I saw my pic by the way,,very nice. Can't wait for more!! Make me fly already! HAHA."

"I'm sooo excited to see myself fly! (Wish I could do it in real life-ha)"

Also, the day after, she put one of her pictures from the shoot as her default on her myspace page.

I'm thinking the 'burglar' must be high or something, daylight burglary, nothing to conceal his face and an automatic weapon! Seems more like a vendetta-fueled murderer than a burglar! LOL, very cool though.

Have you shot the whole of this story yet? Is foolishly toting a gun at a Super Woman the sum of his villainous cunning?

No I haven't shot the WHOLE story just yet. But I have part waiting in the wings. Shooting Kelli again a week from Sunday.
Yeah, our burglar isn't all that bright, but then again.. Well, yeah.. I'm working on it. I miss Caleb. Now HE was a great villian!

Well, if you can find goddesses in Big Tuna, finding smarter villains can't be that hard.

Or is this guy just playing dumb? And, what's a burglar doing with an Uzi? Somebody already said he might be a terrorist? Does he have a bomb? Maybe Kelli could smother it with her body; I don't think you've used that effect before.

Brantely, actually Kelli's hails from the big "D" ( and I DO mean Dallas!)
A terrorist? That's actually a good idea! But the bomb smothering has been done. (See Part one of DOUBLE CROSS). We could do it again though.
So, I usually don't like to give away endings to upcoming updates, but part two of Neighborhood Watch ends with Kelli taking some bullet hits and after little display of her powers, she brings him to his knees..
So, with that info.. Brantely, Zebra, Sarge, and anyone else who may have ideas... Now would be the time to throw in your two cents.
Had a few ideas of my own, but I'll shoot it how you guys want it. Or at least how the majority rules..

I agree... Kelli is great. Definitely looks good in that traditional costume, which demands a real figure to make it work.

I'm just very happy to see the Tempest costume again. My absolute favorite! I hope there is a story in the works for her. :wink:

Ok heres a pretty 'out-there' idea: Don't think you've done anything like this before...

The burglar/nutcase was all along a decoy phantasm. The real villain (who can be the same guy if you like) is an illusionist and he makes her see things that aren't really there. Obviously the possibilities are endless with this as he could put her in any situation until she believes it's an illusion, then it evaporates.

You could have the guy just keep getting up from her attacks and then getting stronger and stronger until she is overpowered. After a bit of that she works out that it can't be true and then she kicks his ass.

As I've said before, I love the classic costume so the more you use it the happier I'll be.
