The musclebeasts of the California high wasteland are fearsome creatures, whom many believe to possess powers that could be considered... unnatural. Here we see Commander Wallace exercising one of her most terrifying abilities: her inexplicable ability to touch a tank without tearing it to pieces!

Warning: Spoiler!

LustMonster was teasing me that I hadn't done any more images of his girls, and my excuse I didn't have any good short hair sounded really lame to me even as I said it, so I improvised :). These took about 45 minutes to set up and 45 minutes to render on my hunk of junk. While futzing around prepping this I finally figured out where all the extra shaders I'd bought were being stored :D. Little steps, but they'll add more to my range in the future. In this case they give the hex-y quality to the Commanders nano-skin.

Considering today marks the end of my first two months of messing with 3D rendering, I'm pretty pleased with my progress. Fortunately we have some masters like Lowerbase around to illustrate how much more there is to learn :).

Getting a little more practice painting my own patterns on clothes. Got a stern reminder about the differences between illuminated images vs. reflected surfaces. Had to adjust the lightness of the logo considerably when it was printed on (virtual) fabric vs. an icon on a computer screen.

Some outfits are just tempting fate if you're a resident of any of the multitude of Goosiverses :).

Hmm, looks pretty good at an angle, but it's a tiny bit warped straight on. I'll probably narrow it just slightly for any later images.

No radical or revolutionary breakthrough lately (and only a little bit of practice as I've been writing like a madman lately) but I did take some pleasure in the ability to create family resemblances by shading in different degrees of face presets. Jessie is 100% of the Blain model face (and skin) with a few adjustments to eye shape and skin tone. Blain was one of those models people come up with that I just found haunting the moment I saw it. Candace is 80% Blain and 20% Luna with Luna's skin and similar eye tweaks/skin tone. One thing I often have to adjust is turn the eye size down slightly as most faces being sold are a little uncanny to me due to both the size and (to me) unusual width of the eyes.

Those are both really good. Definitely making me pine for the day I get my new rig and can actually do full scenes in something less than a lunar cycle... :)

((my current computer is a bit dated))

Since I didn't save the old version I'm not sure if the Serena poster was present in the old render or not, but it's a very nice reference and ties in well with your old story. Cheers :)

Getting some practice working with other people's characters. Also learning more about rendering skin tones. Plus time in photoshop re-paining clothing/gear. Small elements that hopefully add up to a happy author :).

I know a few people recognized her. Hopefully others are acquainted with the tale too.

No, the Serena poster was the latest addition, a little test how to change a texture with really basic photoshop skills. Worked fine here.

So I'm migrating over to a new rig... which makes my old machine look like a complete dinosaur. A few problems getting my custom painted textures to work and my old saves lose textures like mad. I can usually fix the basics in 1-2 minutes but it means any careful customization of skin tone I'd done gets lost/has to be redone from scratch. Annoying but not a show stopper. Thanks to a GeForce 1080 and a butt-ton of memory I've seeing renders that would have taken 15-20 minuteson the old rig resolve in under a minute . Which definitely allows me to iterate faster and opens up the possibility of finally doing characters posed in full settings.

Last time I tried to shoot Jessie out by the pool my machine outright crashed after 30 minutes of spitting blood. This time... 3 minutes. 'Tis a glorious thing :)

Alrighty, finally gave the new beast something it had to chew on. 100% converged in exactly 1 hour and 32 minutes. Oh, this IS going to be fun :).

Starting to get a 'to do' list. Badly need to figure out sky domes (I know they're at thing. I have no idea how to apply the ones I have...). I got lucky with a photo I had lying around for this spur of the moment chot, but its going ot be a recurring issue in any outdoor scene. I also have to learn about doing wet skin: water is frequently an element of transformation in my stories.

Still, a fun quicky even if it reveals some issues. (mildly NSFW)

Had some inspiration from the Images thread about objects and ubergirls penetrating the sound barrier. Had a scene about it coming up anyway, so thought I'd stare at the example for a while then try my hand. This is super rushed with only a single masking. Still the technology seems promising :D.

Had some ideas for rendering heat rays/eye beams. Several of those ideas were wrong, but I muddled through until I got it all to work :).

Been chuckling at the optical illusion the Naiads create - they make adult women look like little girls. Been working with a 'softer' model for Jessie that's growing on my pretty quickly. Enough that I'll likely go back and reshoot some older scenes with the new figure.

A little before/after to showcase the paradigm shift after Jessie has her first growth spurt ;).

I think I have my cover image when the story goes to the library :). Just under 2 hours on the new rig. Plus a ton of fiddly bits shaping and posing.

Say cheese!
Jessie (Before/After) & Candace (After/Before)

I also had a request come in to do a more direct scale comparison of the Moore sisters.

I AM :D!

It's been a fairly hefty investment in hardware and digital assets, but the pay off has definitely been satisfying in the ability to turn something entirely in my head into something fairly similar all can see and share - its not all that different from writing in that regard.

I've made some adjustments to the story so that Jessie's new outfit in text largely aligns with the clothes used in these most recent images (and the same for Candace). That's the outfit Jessie will be wearing when the LAPD has a very bad day...
