That's about how it works with the New Gods (of which Becca is a member). I hadn't paid attention to them before (don't like the name) except as regards a passing knowledge of Akropolis (the evil side of the New Gods, ruled by Darkseid).
But after watching this short I briefly read up on them and I find the New Gods are an interesting bunch (spoken with my comic book hat on).
My reading of it is that the "old gods" are the Greeks, Romans and perhaps the Norse and their ilk. The New Gods are younger and hipper and much more diverse.
What's interesting is that some of the New Gods (like Becca) are right in the middle of ubergirl territory. Darkseid pretty much went toe-to-toe with Superman.
This Becca "wonder woman" seems to be tougher than an Amazon given the smashing she took without injury. Is she bulletproof even while preferring to deflect bullets with her sword?
