I could have predicted it would be a non white fully clothed female a few years ago.
Dingbat Scar Jo has said recently that she was 'too sexy' to play Black Widow. Her sexiness drew fans and made everyone in the food chain nice wages. To crap on those peoples earnings was disgusting to me. Now that she is older and a multimillionaire out comes her so called morals.

They tried getting hold of Laura, but her agent said she couldn't be reached...Or it looks like a harness underneath her very tight suit....I for one can't help but be disappointed that they couldn't get an actress that could actually fly.

Still a wonderful forum. Lots of comments. Cape or not doesn't move me either way. Full bodysuit is the way forward and I dislike that. I want to see a skirt or bare midriff, or even bare arms.

Sarge has nailed it.

Monty wins for comment of the year. They tried getting hold of Laura, but her agent said she couldn't be reached...
As far as the abs and harness. I've been looking at and tinkering with various flying harnesses for a couple years now (no forward movement on it yet). The lowest bumps off to the side by her hips are probably harness strap. The six bumps on her stomach are not a harness ~ no way. They have got to be ab implants/enhancements. You can also see strap compression down on her inner thigh. This is a two point seat harness ~ not even a somersault harness ~ even a three point harness with shoulder straps would not have anything over her belly.
As far as a good costume with real awesome abs ~ I give you exhibit A:

Nothing is wrong with Scarlett Johanssen. She didn't say she was too sexy for the role, she said that in IM2 the character was treated "like a piece of meat." And, looking back on it, she was...a little.
Nope she is full of shit in this regard tbh. Theres a video of her parading around in her Black Widow catsuit with Faverau and other members of the crew looking on, and she is loving it.
And Black Widow is SUPPOSED to play up her sexuality. Thats part of her skill set as a FEMALE SPY. They are called HONEY POTS FFS. We have them in real-life.
But oh well, Hollywood once again shows its complete stupidity and/or agenda.
Peace.

What agenda?
Will take too long to explain, and will certainly be too political for this forum.
Suffice to say, Johannsen here is talking crap.
Peace.

I think she pulls off the pixie cut really well, though it's not my favorite hair style it suits her. The suit is alright, I am glad they didn't go for the navy blue Henry Cavill suit and bleached blonde hair like some fan-made concept images that was a real eye sore.

I don't get why people don't understand this is not Kara Denvers, but most likely Lara Lane-Kent from the Injustice comics...
While its very likely this is the case, the fact that the filmmakers have not come out and said that she is NOT Kara Danvers, has led (myself included) to the conclusion that this WILL be Kara Danvers.
However, like you say, it is entirely possible with the Flashpoint storyline, that this is an alternate Supergirl (and most likely the one you mention).
Until the production confirms it, we won't know for sure.
Having said that, as I mentioned in a post above, the fact that they have not done this, seems to imply that she will be Kara, and they are not saying it so as not to piss off fans.
You don't cast a prominent superheroine like Supergirl, then immediatley recast her in the next movie.
Peace.

As for the issue whether or not she is Kara Zor-El, I really do not care all that much. I mean, I'm perfectly okay with the multiverse concept and can understand why they would try a different version of the character after how they sacrificed the CW Supergirl show at the altar of political correctness (and paid the price in declining viewership numbers resulting in its cancellation).

With regards to comic book movies/shows, its not often I agree with you jdrock24. But on this, I agree 100%

Another picture from the set, as well as one which hints to you which set they're on.
Awesome top picture shoot!
