Mid-May is the time the networks reveal their Fall schedules. WW will probably be screened before that before execs but from what the rumor is, it's almost definitely got a slot on the calendar becuase they have so much invested in it (and DEK's got a lot of clout)
In terms of leaked footage, if it gets picked up, it's safe to assume that we'll see something in mid-late July with SDCC....

Thanks for the info LFan.
I have high hopes for this show buy know that it is swimming against the tide. Besides the cultural misgivings most people have (if you believe message board comments anyway), it also seems like it might be too expensive for the network to bear. Unless it continues to pull huge ratings week in and week out to justify the cost.
I read somewhere that George Lucas was trying to develop a live action Star Wars show (I don't remember the plot) but that the effects required were just too darn expensive that it wasn't feasible.
Now I know that Wonder Woman won't have as many effects as a Star Wars series would, but do you think her show might have the same problem?

Third look
This guy makes it sound like the third costume will be a lot closer to the original version.
I wonder if that will make the haters happy? I know, nothing will make some people happy.

What continues to amaze me is why most people don't just kick back and prepare to enjoy the show, regardless how close it comes to their personal concept of WW. Last i checked, there wasn't a new WW show on TV last year. Or the year before, and not for a lot of years before that. So this year will be very special regardless if its a good or bad show.
Seems like the American trend nowadays is to be either strongly For or Against things. To be Right or Wrong, Red or Blue, Love or Hate. Whatever happened to just to just enjoying whatever we have? To look for the good and not the potential bad.
I mean, I can half (and only half) understand such passion when it comes to religion, politics and war. But a comic book character? How funny is that.
I for one will enjoy the show no matter what the costume. And to be honest, I kind of enjoy the costume with the jacket that's in the current comic book. I like the original costume too. In fact, as long as the girl or woman has superstrength, I'm even OK with no costume. Its the fantastic strength and resistance to being hurt by stuff that would kill us -- and what they do with that plot-wise -- that's fun to watch, not her wardrobe.
I mean, we can see Cosplay and photoenhance models in costume all we want. A dramatic TV show with a few million dollar budget offers us something new...Live Action with professional actors and professional production. Gotta love that.

Aside from the obvious jokes regarding his expression -- as well as the limitless opportunities of having a caption contest -- this picture, as pointed out by an astute observer over at comicbookreosurces.com perhaps shows a glimpse at her "traditional outfit".
If you look closely at the blue material, it is clearly lighter blue than her "pants". Secondly, the stars are white, not gold like on the pants. And finally, the 'alignment' of the stars does not appear to be straight up and down like on the pants.
Judging from the greenscreen which wasn't seemingly used in the Hollywood Blvd shoots, this pic might have been taken for the "interior" fight scene near the end of the pilot where she is in the "third costume". If only the camera panned down (or the photo wasn't teasingly cropped)....
Anyways, thought I'd share...

Guess we will have to find out if any of "these" scenes is in the final cut when it airs.
Fingers crossed they're in
Peace
P.S. Is there an air date for this penciled in, or is too early for that?

WW pilot review
After listening to someone who has actually seen it, I'm a bit more apprehensive about the show now. While he says there are some positive aspects of it (No shiny pants), most of them are negative (WW kills people?). What do you think?

This show sounds both hilarious and awesome (to me anyway). ultra-violent wonder woman??? WTH
I wont spoil it for ppl that want to avoid spoilers, but yeah the general buzz is positive.
Adrianne gets some good mentions, in fact they say she is pretty good in it (shame the script sounds lame).
If it airs, i will DEFINATLY be watching it, though i imagine they will change it quite a bit before (if) it airs.
But yeah check out the review, even if its just for the laughs
Peace

I think I'll wait for the actual pilot to air. Sorry but all this speculation and ranting is really killing me, if the show work that will be great, if it doesn't I serious doubt that will be a major setback, WB already considered WW to be only a barely marketable character.
